👌👍✋Here are some techniques parents can use to teach sign language to their baby⤵️

✅ Start early: Babies can start learning sign language as early as 6 months old. The earlier parents start teaching, the more time the baby has to learn and practice.

✅ Use consistent signs: Choose a set of signs that you will consistently use with your baby. This will help your baby learn and remember the signs more easily.

✅ Repeat signs often: Repetition is key when teaching baby sign language. Repeat the signs often and use them in different contexts to help reinforce their meaning.

✅ Make it fun: Learning sign language can be fun for both parent and baby. Use animated facial expressions and exaggerated body movements to make the signs more engaging and memorable.

✅ Use signs in context: Use signs in context when communicating with your baby. For example, use the sign for “eat” when you’re feeding your baby or the sign for “sleep” when you’re putting your baby down for a nap.

✅ Be patient: Learning sign language takes time and practice. Be patient with your baby and keep reinforcing the signs until they are comfortable using them.

💡teaching sign language to your baby requires consistent practice and patience. With time and practice, your baby can become comfortable using signs to communicate and improve their overall communication skills.🤗

🌈🌞👶 Let's talk about the fascinating world of color, light, and transparency for babies! Did you know that as babies grow, they become more sensitive to different hues and shades, and start to distinguish between similar colors?

Not too young 😍
- Gravely brandishing a banner reading “Climate Justice” and guiding a crowd of young people through a muddy Kampala market, Leah Namugerwa is in her element.

“I want to raise a generation that cares about the environment,” she says. “At least if the leaders can’t make a difference, we can make a difference. We, as kids, we’re not too young to make a positive difference.”🪧🌍 @namugerwaleah 🙂

🎨Painting helps children use all of their senses and express their emotions. They touch and feel the colors, then create something of their own.
Surely you have seen how happy your little one was when given paints, brushes and paper.😁
It relaxes them like when both sides of your child’s brain are busy at the time.

💡Let’s see some other benefits of how painting helps your child’s development. It helps your kid to:

✅Communicate their deepest emotions or feelings without using words.
✅Learn something new. Yes, it’s a learning opportunity that’s fun too.
✅Improve hand-eye coordination. This coordination develops as they paint.
✅Express their feelings, thoughts, ideas and knowledge.
✅Explore and create something with new types of expression.
✅Experiment with various lines, shapes, colors, textures and designs.
✅Learn to be creative without limits.

✅Develop mentally, emotionally and socially.
- [ ] How social? This gives them self-confidence and teaches them to participate in group activities (if painting is done in a group).

📦Our Playkido line give to your kid what they need to express themselves and beyond!!

🎨Between 2 and a half and 6 years old, children have a particularly active imagination. It is an intense period where they are very curious about others and the world around them. As they do not understand everything, their imagination sometimes takes care of giving them answers to questions or certain phenomena. For example, a child might think the toast is burnt because the toaster is angry! Creativity also promotes the search for original ideas or solutions when a problem arises.

- A child demonstrates creativity and imagination, among other things, when drawing, painting, cutting or modeling. This is also the case when he has fun pretending to be a policeman who fights bad guys. Same thing when he invents stories, prepares “recipes” in a sandbox, builds a building with blocks, makes his doggies talk or talks with an imaginary friend.💡

Baby begins by smiling blissfully… a first sketch of his smile to come.🌞

*Sometimes your baby, just a few weeks old, smiles in her sleep, a fleeting little smile that spontaneously stretches her lips. Because he frequently feels emotions that he does not control, the pleasure - which is part of it - then triggers a spontaneous smile. Your baby feels good, and his body reacts to this state with a little movement of his lips... He derives pleasure from what he is experiencing (we stroke him, he is warm, we feed him...) but he does not is not yet aware of what produces this pleasure.🧐

*What satisfaction for you to see him smile like that! You have the impression that it is to you that he addresses this sign. In reality, it's "just" a spontaneous smile... because you just feed it, or cuddle it tenderly. He is happy... This smile is the expression of his well-being and a first step towards language. For you, the joy caused by this smile motivates you even more to take care of him.

Very quickly, your baby's smile is addressed to you.😍

*No, you're not dreaming, he's still very young, between one and two months, often even earlier, and now he's smiling at you by imitation, then intentionally. He knows he smiles and why he does it. Because you look at him, because he catches your gaze to his and he stays there, because you too are smiling at him, he responds with a smile. Your face leans into him, and your baby smiles at you spontaneously.

Your baby is smiling at you: smile at him!

*When your baby smiles at you, spontaneously or not, it gives you joy, the satisfaction of feeling happy in your arms. In turn, smile at him, show him your contentment. Talk to him, he perceives through your intonations your feelings, your pleasure to be with him. The pleasure he feels increases his well-being.

Follow the lead of their smile🌈👶🏻👶🏼👶🏽👶🏾

Soon in our new blog…
Stay tuned 🙂

In reality, it`s "just" a spontaneous smile... because you just feed it, or cuddle it tenderly. He is happy... This smile is the expression of his well-being and a first step towards language. For you, the joy caused by this smile motivates you even more to take care of him.

Very quickly, your baby`s smile is addressed to you.😍

*No, you`re not dreaming, he`s still very young, between one and two months, often even earlier, and now he`s smiling at you by imitation, then intentionally.

🌍One action can change everything and also be fun 😍 @ryans_recycling

Ryan Hickman:

When Ryan Hickman was just 3-and-a-half years old, he fell in love with recycling.
“My dad took me to the local recycling center for the first time … when I was 3-and-a-half, and I just loved it,” Ryan, now proudly 12-and-a-half years old, tells Green Matters on a recent video call. “And I just wanted to keep doing it and doing it and doing it, because it was fun, and it was helping the environment.”

In the near-decade that Ryan’s Recycling has been in business, Ryan has collected and recycled about 1.6 million cans and bottles — something that is now driven far more by environmentalism than it was when he first started.
“When I was 3, I was doing it mostly for the money, because I didn't know much about the environment,” Ryan says. “But when I was 5 or 6, I started to see it was helping the environment, so that's what started to motivate me even more.”
